My own mom's journey

My mother was diagnosed on August 1, 2013. When our journey began I also was stunned, sickened, shocked, horrified and scared. I also hopped on the internet to find information. Thank God I found your website. You were a blessing all through her journey. You helped me to find a way to deal with this horrible disease.

Unfortunately she lost her battle on April 22, 2014. We have lost the glue that kept us all together. I know in time we will find a way to deal with her loss. I can never say thank you enough for this website. Your hard work has helped many people.

My mom was diagnosis last year June 1 2013, we was shock,scared and asking why her... The doctor give her 3 to 6 months to live but we taught out mom was made of stronger stuff.. She took two round of chemo and them we realize that it was not working.. The doctor told us we just need to make her really comfortable and enjoy the time with her. My mom passes way December 5 2013, 6 months 5 days from the day she was diagnosis. I miss her so much but I know she is in a better place without the pain...

Dear Marie,

My heart aches for your loss. Please know that you are not alone. I can only imagine how dark this valley seems. Lifting you and your family up in my prayers and sending hugs across the miles. I truly believe that one of the most honest and humble things we can do to honor the legacy of the ones we've lost is to move forward and live a life that would make them proud.

Your mom was indeed blessed to have you to walk with during this last chapter of her life. May you be held in the arms of Grace as you grieve, and may you find that the memories grow sweeter each and every day.
